From ancestors through the gates of time
The handsome [man] entered the house!

To keep through the milleniums
Our Romanian [folk] art!

Searching and gathering folk [prose and poetry] for a long period of time and finding a great deal, I looked to stimulate the creative capacity of those who place entire passions into composing new content for popular art [folk].
Faced with various and priceless pieces of textile art [fabrics] from the Romanian museums, collected from different etnographic zones, brearing different embroiding patters as well as textures and braids and hundred-year-old costumes, I stopped to concentrate on the most ornamentally embroided linen, the female camisole or shirt, which completes the popular wear from the neck to the breast and sometime the complete length of the upper body.
Similarly, I also shed light on the different methods of weaving, and the decorative pillows, sets, tablecloths, wall rugs, girtles, and other products. At the epicenter of this research lies an ethnic and moral impulse that binds me to pass down to future generations everything that my work has bestowed upon me, society, homeland, and ancestors, all together. We will be contemporaries and lovers of the beautiful folk art as long as we will desire to be the creators of Romanian folk [popular] vestiments.
